Description of Services: 24 hour support with activities of daily living for students with disabilities living at Carleton University and Algonquin College

Non-medical assistance with everyday tasks:
  • transferring
  • using the washroom
  • grooming
  • cutting up food and assistance with eating
  • cleaning
  • carrying laundry
  • setting up books

Attendants will not assist with the following:
  • shopping
  • homework
  • wake-up calls
  • cleaning up after guests
  • moving

Fees: None for Ontario Residents * Non-Ontario residents will be evaluated individually
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults 16 years and older * Algonquin College or Carleton University students with a physical disability living in residence
