Description of Services: Professionally trained Crisis Line Responders provide:
  • screening
  • assessment
  • referrals
  • support in a crisis
  • suicide intervention
  • transfer to the Local Crisis Team or to emergency services when advisable

Crisis include:
  • difficulty dealing with stress
  • overwhelming feelings
  • symptoms of depression
  • anxiety or psychosis
  • suicidal thoughts
  • any concerns regarding personal mental health or that of a family member or friend

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Anyone 16 years of age and older experiencing a mental health or addiction crisis in Renfrew County

Crisis Line Responder will ask you to provide relavant information about the crisis
